This year's edition focuses on the use of big data sets in translational applications. With the increasing availability of (bio)medical data, and the advances in AI and machine learning, personalized medicine comes within reach. Science for health zooms in on the existing and upcoming initiatives in the local ecosystem, addresses the ethical aspects and patient perspectives, and showcases international examples of how big data brings added value.

Practical information

Science for health will take place online and in SQUARE on November 19. This venue is located in the heart of Brussels, within walking distance from the Central Station and the car park Albertine. Doors open at 9.30am. This one-day conference focuses on personalized health and features international and Belgian data science experts.
