The Belgian region Flanders is investing for the first time in its own pavilion at the world's largest technology fair, CES in Las Vegas. The export agency Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) has opened registrations for Flemish companies. Wallonia has had its own stand at CES for many years.

The next edition of CES (Consumer Electronics Show) will take place from 6 to 9 January 2027. For the first time, visitors—almost 150,000 attended the previous edition—will be able to visit an official Flemish stand. FIT is following the example of the Walloon export agency Awex, which has had its own stand at the tech fair since 2018.
Because a section of the exhibition hall in Las Vegas is very expensive—Wallonia paid 200,000 euros last time—the Flemish export agency has in recent years opted to rent a hotel suite to host guests or company representatives. However, interest from Flemish technology companies has increased, prompting FIT to want to invest more heavily now.
There will be no shared Belgian stand with Awex. "We have chosen to focus specifically on companies offering mobility solutions. From Flanders, we are emphasising our own strengths," says FIT spokesperson Manon Vandewalle. "Additionally, with our own pavilion, we also highlight Flanders as an investment location."
Flemish companies wishing to secure a spot in the FIT pavilion must pay 8,500 euros. Companies participating in a fair with the Flemish export agency are now responsible for covering all costs directly related to their participation. Previously, FIT often covered part of these costs. Support before, during, and after the fair remains free. Awex charges 600 or 1,200 euros, depending on the size of the company.
